What is StudyWithSTEM?
StudyWithSTEM is an independent project that designs poster-style cheat sheets for STEM and computing subjects, builds small study tools, and writes posts. The cheat sheets are sold as high-resolution PNG and PDF files through Buy Me a Coffee; everything you can read or use directly on the Site — posts, tools, pages — is free. It's run by one person, not a company. Start on the home page to see the latest drops.
What subjects do you cover?
Nine core areas: biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and robotics — plus computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and ethical hacking & cybersecurity (networking, Linux, penetration-testing fundamentals, and the tools that go with them — the defensive, exam-relevant kind, not anything that helps you break the law).
Within every subject we go wherever the teaching pain is: reaction mechanisms, cell organelles, kinematics, trig identities, big-O notation, gradient descent, TCP/IP, nmap flags. If a topic is dense, visual, and worth pinning to a wall, it's on our list.
What's free, and what's paid?
Free: browsing the whole Site, reading posts, using the interactive tools, and getting the Friday newsletter — no account, no ads.
Paid: the downloadable files. Every cheat sheet ships as a PNG + PDF pair, and the files are the product — that's what keeps the Site independent and ad-free. Individual sheets, the complete bundle, and the lifetime membership are all handled through Buy Me a Coffee (pricing in the next few questions).
When do new drops come out?
A new drop every Friday, where possible — a new cheat sheet goes into the shop and gets announced in the same day's newsletter. Occasionally life or exams bend the schedule; when that happens, we say so rather than go quiet.
Where do I buy the cheat sheets?
Everything is sold through our Buy Me a Coffee shop — the same place the "Become a member" button in the top nav takes you. Buy Me a Coffee handles checkout, file delivery, and re-downloads; we never see your card details.
How much do cheat sheets cost?
$8 per cheat sheet — and that gets you both formats, the PNG and the PDF, in print resolution.
Two bigger options exist: the complete bundle — every cheat sheet in the library — for $199, and the lifetime membership for $66. What those actually get you is explained in the next two questions.
What exactly do I get when I buy one?
- The PNG — screen-sharp, for wallpapers, tablets, and second monitors.
- The PDF — print-optimised, sized for standard printers and school printers.
- Lifetime re-downloads from your Buy Me a Coffee account — buy once, grab it again on any device.
- A licence covering personal study plus printing handouts for your own classroom (see question 11).
What's not included: reselling, rehosting, or sharing the files themselves — that's question 12.
Is there a bundle?
Yes. The bundle is every cheat sheet currently in the library, in one purchase, for $199 — the "I want the whole shelf" option. Every subject, every sheet, delivered together, with the same re-download-anytime access as individual buys.
Cheat sheets released after your bundle purchase are bought individually — or, if you'd rather never think about that again, see question 09.
What is the lifetime membership?
Lifetime membership is a one-time $66 payment that gets you every digital product we sell — current and future — free, for life.
- Every cheat sheet in the shop today: free, in both PNG and PDF.
- Every cheat sheet we ever release after that: also free. Friday drops just appear in your account.
- Lifetime re-downloads, on any device, just like individual purchases.
- It's genuinely one payment — no renewal, no annual fee, no asterisk.
One thing it isn't: a resale or commercial licence. The personal + classroom licence from question 07 applies to everything you get.
How do I get my files after paying?
Buy Me a Coffee delivers files automatically — checkout, download, done. Your purchases stay tied to your Buy Me a Coffee account, so you can log back in and re-download any file, any time, on any device.
If a download misbehaves, see question 19.
Can I use purchased cheat sheets in my classroom?
Yes. The licence that comes with every purchase — individual, bundle, or via lifetime membership — covers printing and photocopying sheets for your own classes within your own school or tuition setting. No extra permission email needed for that.
School-wide deployment, sharing the source files with other teachers, or anything that amounts to redistribution needs a licence — email studywithstem@gmail.com.
Can I use your content commercially?
Not by default. Paid cheat sheets come with a personal + classroom licence, not a commercial one. Using our sheets inside a paid course, a textbook, an app, or any product of your own needs written permission — and, for commercial use, a paid licence.
Email studywithstem@gmail.com — we're reasonable, especially about education, but permission has to be in writing before use.
What are the Tools, and are they free?
Yes, the tools are free. They're small interactive utilities — calculators, converters, and similar — each built to solve one study problem well rather than be everything to everyone. They run on the Site, need no account or install, and stay free: open the tool, use it, done.
Tool outputs (like calculated results) are yours to use; the tools themselves remain ours. And the usual honesty note: sanity-check anything that matters before it matters.
Are your posters accurate — should I cite them?
We take accuracy seriously and cross-check everything before release, but cheat sheets are deliberately simplified for clarity — they're study aids, not textbooks, and simplification can omit caveats and edge cases that matter in advanced study.
- For exams and papers, verify against an authoritative source before relying on a figure or formula.
- For academic citations, cite the primary textbook or source we're summarising, not us.
- Found something off? See question 21 — corrections usually ship the next Friday.
How do I subscribe to the newsletter?
Use the subscribe form at the bottom of any page, or the Subscription page. Enter your name and email, tick the consent box, and watch your inbox — if a confirmation email arrives, click it and you're in.
The newsletter is typically one email per week, on Fridays, and nothing else. Details on what happens to your address are in our Privacy Policy.
How do I unsubscribe or change my email?
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom — one click, no questions, and it takes effect promptly.
To change your address, just unsubscribe the old one and subscribe with the new one. To see or delete the data we hold about you, email us — your rights are listed in Section 12 of the Privacy Policy.
Why do you ask for my name?
Only so the newsletter can greet you as a person instead of "subscriber #482". It's never sold, never shared, and deleted when you unsubscribe. If you'd rather not give your real name, a nickname works fine — the emails don't care.
What if something's wrong with my file or payment?
If a file is corrupted, a download link is dead, or a payment went through twice: email studywithstem@gmail.com with your Buy Me a Coffee order details and we'll fix it, or get you sorted with their support.
Payments and refunds themselves are processed entirely by Buy Me a Coffee, so formal refunds run through their policies — plus anything the law requires of us, which we do. If a file we sold you is genuinely broken, we will always make it right.
Can I request a topic or suggest an idea?
Yes, please — a lot of the shop exists because someone asked. Email studywithstem@gmail.com or use the Contact page with what you'd like to see: a topic, a cheat sheet, a tool.
We read every suggestion, though we can't promise to build everything. Requesting a topic doesn't entitle you to a free copy of it if it ships — but lifetime members get it free automatically, which is a decent consolation.
I found a mistake — what should I do?
Tell us! Email studywithstem@gmail.com with the page or sheet and what's wrong. Corrections usually ship with the next Friday release — and yes, we'll credit you by name if you'd like.
If you bought an affected sheet, the corrected version lands in your Buy Me a Coffee account automatically, free.
Who runs StudyWithSTEM?
One person — an independent creator, not a company or a team. That means replies to emails may take a few days and the schedule sometimes bends around real life, but it also means everything here was actually made with care, by someone who reads the corrections.
You can reach the same human behind all of it at studywithstem@gmail.com.
My question isn't answered here. Now what?
Just email studywithstem@gmail.com or use the Contact page. If it's a good question — and most are — it'll probably end up on this page, because if you're wondering, someone else is too.
