The short answers — with the long ones one tap away.
How does the age calculator work?+
Enter your date of birth (and optionally a time), then choose the date to calculate your age up to. The tool compares the two dates and breaks down the difference into years, months, days, hours and minutes.
Is my birth date uploaded to a server?+
No. All calculations happen locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your date of birth never leaves your device.
Can I calculate my age on a future date?+
Yes. Change the “Calculate age as of” date to any future or past date to see how old you were or will be on that day.
Why does the age in months and days sometimes look off by one?+
Because months have different lengths (28–31 days). The calculator uses calendar-aware arithmetic: it counts complete months between dates, then the remaining days, rather than assuming a fixed 30-day month.
Does the calculator include my time of birth?+
Yes. If you provide a birth time, the tool includes hours and minutes in the breakdown. If you leave it blank, it assumes midnight (00:00).
Can I calculate the age difference between two people?+
Yes. Enter the first person's date of birth as the birth date, and the second person's date of birth as the “Calculate age as of” date. The result is the age difference between the two.
Is this age calculator free to use?+
Yes, it's completely free with no account, no sign-up, and no limit on how many times you use it.
